Savera / PRA Report Series Self-Citation
D5 D6
Savera's three investigation reports form a self-citation chain published across 2024. Each successive report cites earlier Savera publications as established findings. Political Research Associates (PRA) co-publishes all three reports and subsequently cites them in its own publications as independent research, creating a dual role as co-author and validating source. Hindutva Watch, run by CSOH's Raqib Hameed Naik, republishes findings to create the appearance of independent corroboration from within the same advocacy ecosystem. Coalition members (HfHR, IAMC, AKSC) provide press-release endorsements of reports they co-authored — a structural circularity that is not disclosed.

Evidence
- Sequential citation chain: VHP Trail (Feb 2024) → Cut from the Same Cloth (Apr 2024) → HAF Way to Supremacy (Oct 2024); each treats prior report's framing as established
- PRA flagged as circular in CID-0023 (significant) and CID-0026 (low) — co-publisher and amplifier simultaneously
- PRA published excerpted content (Jan 2026) lending research framing to advocacy coalition output
- Hindutva Watch (CSOH/Raqib Hameed Naik) republished CID-0026 findings, creating appearance of independent validation from ecosystem partner
- Coalition members (HfHR, IAMC, AKSC) endorsed reports in press releases while also serving as co-authors — undisclosed dual role
- CID-0023 self-citations: 28 in 15,252 words (one per 545 words); wearesavera.org is most-cited domain
- Taylor & Francis academic journal (2025) cited Savera as 'Savera 2024a/b' without distinguishing advocacy from peer-reviewed research
